About Killer Instinct Studios
Welcome to Killer Instinct Studios…
Our luxury commercial recording studios are located in the North Hollywood, California area, right outside of Los Angeles. Killer Instinct Studios was created in February 2019 by a Father and Daughter collaboration, under the business company of Killer Instinct Entertainment to which they created and established in 2016.
Co-Founder Tommie “Tj” Lewis is a product from the HBCU of Langston University in Oklahoma & has had his share of time within the music industry, from working with independent artists, to managing them, to eventually getting on board with a management team that would oversee the day-to-day activities of celebrity talent during specific events that would take place in Los Angeles.
Co-Founder Tia Owens a product from the University of California, Irvine gained a good amount of experience in the music industry right after graduating. She then was able to utilize her contacts and relationships that she had built from internships and from what she learned during her time being employed at Paramount Recording Studios, Republic Records/ Universal Music Group to wearing many hats as a Studio Manager, A&R and Executive Assistant at Kanye’ West’s Good Music label.
As the saying goes…. “When times change, so must we.”
As the Father and Daughter duo decided to take what they were able to get out of the music industry and make their transition into having their own Recording Studio business. And with that, they have been able to book some of the hottest artist in the music industry today and build the type clientele that would make their studio one of the most popular studios in Los Angeles.
Killer Instinct Studios has a great creative environment that allows every artist the opportunity to receive the highest quality of professional sound recording, mixing, and also provides production services (if needed).
Killer Instinct Studios currently has two different locations, a facility in North Hollywood with two studio rooms (Studio A & Studio B), and a facility in Valley Village which also has two studio rooms (Studio Bonnie & Studio Clyde), along with 10 in house audio engineers, assistant engineers and interns/studio runners that are dedicated to giving Killer Instinct Studios the best reputation around.
The name Killer Instinct Ent. / Killer Instinct Studios came about from the business Owners way of thinking, their way of working and their way of identifying with the definition of Killer Instinct, "A ruthless determination to succeed or win" and now uses the definition as the mantra for their business and other business opportunities that may come about in the future.
We, here at Killer Instinct Studios appreciate all those that have done business with us and look forward to continuing a great business relationship. We also look forward to creating and building new business relationships as well.
